THE
LAND OF ISREAL DIVIDED BY ALL NATIONS
CONSIDER: Joel predicted that “all nations” will divide the land of Israel. His prophecy exactly matches the current struggle over the land of Israel. After the Six Day War of 1967, Jews once again occupied all lands that were once a part of the Jewish state. The United Nations however, has passed a resolution that demands Israel withdraw from Judea and the Golan Heights. This would divide Israel, as Joel predicted!
JOEL
3:1-2
1 For, behold, in
those days, and in that time, when I shall
bring
again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Part of this prophecy has already been fulfilled. Joel wrote:
» The Israelis would become exiles among every nation on earth. Joel wrote that “all nations” would be responsible for Jews being “...scattered among the nations...”
» The Jews will return to Palestine after this global exile. God promised through Joel's prophecy: “...I shall restore the exiles of Judah and Jerusalem...”
The division of Israel however,
has yet to be fulfilled:
Joel wrote: "all nations" “parted my land (Israel)” God sees the end from the beginning. The current effort to divide the land of Israel will eventually escalate into a military conflict between Israel and the nations of the world. Joel foresaw a time when “all nations” or a multinational army will divide Israel by force.
The United Nations has wanted Israel to withdraw from about half of the land since 1967. There has never been a time in history when the nations of the world wanted to divide Israel until recent times!
The nations of the world were never unified until the 20th century. Yet, the U.N. Security Council has passed resolution 242 demanding that Israel withdraw from Judea, the Golan Heights, and East Jerusalem. The West Bank (Judea) and East Jerusalem would be handed over to the Palestinians, in order to establish a Palestinian State.
On almost a daily basis, we hear news about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Our current news is filled with stories about the future division of Israel. According to Biblical prophecy, the division of Israel will occur three and one-half years prior to the coming of the Lord. At this time, a multinational force will repartition Israel, and divide Jerusalem.
Is it merely coincidence the Bible predicts all nations will divide the land of Israel, and United Nations wants this land to be divided today?
